I.	Job Title: Trainee/Associate Software Engineer – AI/Data Science
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee/Associate Software Engineer – AI/Data Science to join our team. This entry-level position will provide you with hands-on experience in applying machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence techniques to solve real-world problems. You will work alongside senior data scientists and AI engineers, gaining valuable exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.
(A)	Key Responsibilities:
●	Assist in collecting, processing, and analysing large datasets from various sources.
●	Support in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms.
●	Contribute to data cleaning, transformation, and visualization tasks.
●	Help in automating data workflows and pipelines.
●	Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
●	Participate in model evaluation and performance tuning to improve accuracy and efficiency.
●	Contribute to research and development efforts to innovate and improve AI and data science methodologies.
●	Create and maintain detailed documentation for models, processes, and results.
(B)	Required Qualifications:
●	Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
●	Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
●	Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
●	Familiarity with data manipulation libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or similar.
●	Understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and basic data querying skills.
●	Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or version control systems (Git) is a plus.
●	Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
●	Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
(C)	Preferred Skills:
●	Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), NLP techniques, LLMs, or AI agents is a plus.
●	Understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling techniques.
●	Exposure to Big Data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) or AI development tools.


II.	Job Title: Trainee/Associate - Software Engineer
(A)	Job Responsibilities:
●	Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to understand project requirements and contribute effectively to the development process.
●	Participate in coding, debugging, and testing activities to deliver high-quality software solutions.
●	Learn and apply industry best practices in Java development, including design patterns, coding standards, and software engineering principles.
●	Gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Java-based applications, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
●	Work with databases and other backend technologies to integrate data into applications.
●	Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
●	Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Java development to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
●	Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
●	Communicate effectively within the team and actively participate in meetings and discussions.
●	Good Knowledge of SQL.
(B)	Requirements:
●	Engineering in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication. (CSE/IT/ECE)
●	Strong understanding of core Java concepts and object-oriented programming principles.
●	Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar technologies is a plus.
●	Basic knowledge of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
●	Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn new technologies.
●	Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
●	Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
●	Passion for software development and a desire to pursue a career in Java programming.

III.	Job Title: Trainee/Associate Software Engineer- Technical Support
Job Summary:
As a Trainee/Associate - Software Engineer - Technical Support, you will be trained to provide technical support for the Posidex products and assistance for SQL databases. You will work under the guidance of experienced support engineers and SMEs. You will learn to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application and database-related issues. This is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in application, database support and administration.

(A)	Key Responsibilities:
Training & Development:
•	Participate in on-the-job training sessions to learn Posidex Products, SQL query language, database management, and troubleshooting techniques.
•	Assist senior SQL engineers, and SMEs in performing routine database, and applications.
•	maintenance tasks.
•	Learn to monitor application and database performance and implement optimization strategies.

Technical Support:
•	Assist in responding to production applications, and SQL-related technical support tickets.
•	and queries from users or clients.
•	Shadow experienced engineers to understand and eventually handle the database-
•	related issues and their resolution.
•	Develop skills in diagnosing performance issues, deadlocks, and bottlenecks in
•	production environments.

Database Maintenance:
•	Support database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures under supervision.
•	Assist in managing database access, permissions, and security protocols.
•	Learn to perform database updates, indexing, and other optimization tasks.
•	Collaboration:
•	Work closely with the development team, system administrators, and other IT staff
•	To assist with database-related tasks.
•	Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on improving application performance and reliability.

Documentation:
•	Assist in documenting troubleshooting steps, solutions, and best practices as you learn.
•	Help maintain and update database schemas, configurations, and technical documentation.

(B)	Required Skills:
•	Basic knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and relational database concepts.
•	Familiarity with database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL/ PostgreSQL/ ORACLE.
•	Should have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
•	Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
•	Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
•	Ability to work as part of a team.
•	Should be flexible to work from any location in India and in 24/7 shifts.
•	Having knowledge in any of the programming languages is preferable.

(iv) Job Title: Trainee/Associate Software Engineer-Testing

(A)	Key Responsibilities:
•	Learn and understand the software development lifecycle & STLC & the role of QA within it.
•	Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.
•	Work closely with senior QA engineers to execute test cases and report defects accurately.
•	Participate in various types of testing including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, System testing and performance testing.
•	Gain proficiency in using testing tools and technologies employed by the organization.
•	Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
•	Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and procedures.
•	Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies using any automation tools.
•	Good Knowledge on SQL queries.
               
(B)	Requirements:
•	Engineering in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•	Basic understanding of software development concepts and methodologies.
•	Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•	Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•	Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
•	Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
•	Prior experience with software testing or QA processes (preferred but not required).
•	Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) would be a plus.

2. Eligibility Criteria & Compensation
(A) Qualification:
•	90% or equivalent GPA in 12th standard.
•	80% or equivalent GPA in B.Tech CSE/IT/ECE ( cumulative) till last semester in Final year.
(B) Work Location: 
(a) Posidex Technologies Pvt Ltd
My Home Hub, Block-III, 6th Floor, Patrika Nagar, HITEC City, Hyderabad-500 081.

(b) Any Client location in India for short spells. In this case company will provide for Travel, decent accommodation, and a reasonable daily allowance to take care of the expenses

(C) Mode of Work: Work from Office (WFO) and 5 days a week.
(D) Employment Type: 
	Trainee 
•	Duration: 6 months.
•	Stipend Rs 30,000 Per month
           Phase-1 (0-3 Months): Foundational/Common Training:
•	The first three months will focus on foundational and common training modules.
•	Trainees will undergo rigorous training to cover essential skills and knowledge across various key technologies/areas.
•	At the end of this phase/3 months, an assessment will be conducted to evaluate the trainee's understanding and progress.
 Note: Trainees who do not pass the assessment will be discontinued from the training after three months of foundational/common training.

         Phase-2 (4–6 Months): Specialized Domain Training:
•	Trainees who successfully clear the Phase-1 assessment will move on to specialized domain training.
•	During this phase, trainees will be assigned to specific projects based on their performance in the Phase-1 assessment and organizational requirements.
•	The focus will be on deepening domain expertise and applying skills in real-world scenarios.
•	After the six-month training, a job-specific final assessment will be conducted.
•	Trainees who successfully clear this assessment will be offered full-time employment with the organization.

Note: Trainees who do not pass the Phase-2(specialized domain training: 4 to 6 months) assessment will be discontinued from the training.

(E) Full-Time Employment Conversion, Agreement, and Compensation Details:
•	After the completion of the 6 months, an assessment test will be administered. Trainees who successfully clear this assessment will be offered full-time employment (FTE). 
•	Trainees will be required to sign a 2-year service agreement, effective from the start of their full-time employment. Any breach of this agreement will be subject to the stipulated consequences outlined in the agreement separately.
•	Compensation:  The CTC will range from ₹4,00,000 to ₹6,00,000 per annum depending on the role and skill set. Candidates with top-tier skills in areas such as AI, ML, Data Science, and Development will be offered salaries at the higher end of the range, while roles in QA Testing and Support Functions will be offered at the lower end of the range. A detailed breakdown of the compensation package will be shared with candidates upon their conversion to full-time employment (FTE).

CTC will be revised based on individual performance during the annual appraisal process, with potential increases reflecting achievements and contributions.
(E) Terms and Conditions of Service Agreement/bond:
•	The EMPLOYEE accepts that in the event of him/her leaving the COMPANY prematurely during the service agreement period, the EMPLOYEE shall pay a sum of Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Only) as liquidated compensation without demur to EMPLOYER/COMPANY in view of the cost incurred for the process of selection, training, induction of the EMPLOYEE and for the loss of credibility, as well as for serious disturbance in the business on account of loss of estimated work from the EMPLOYEE and his/her replacement.

Dear Student,

We are happy to share that the Round 1 of HackWithInfy received an overwhelming participation from the students. Top 5000 programmers have been shortlisted to move up to Round 2 of the contest. We thank you for the encouragement and support extended.

Top 100 finalists who clear Round 2 will get an opportunity to compete in the Grand Finale, at Infosys Pune and win a pre-placement interview (PPI) for the Power Programmer role. The next top 500 finalists will get a PPI for the Systems Engineer role.

Instructions for Round 2

-       Please Note: Round 2 will be web proctored and it is mandatory to have a working webcam while taking the test, failing which the candidate will NOT be allowed to take the test.

-       Kindly ensure that the students are connected to a stable internet connection during the entire process, from the time they log in till the time they complete the challenge (recommended internet speed of minimum 3-4 Mbps).

-       Round 2 will be an individual challenge of 3 hours (180 mins), containing 3 problem statements to be solved within the time frame.

-       The candidates will receive an email from HackerRank (support@hackerrankforwork.com) with the test link, on their registered email address latest by Thursday, July 19, 2018.

-       Please ask the students to follow the instructions provided in the email and access the given link with their login credentials.

-       Please check if the login credentials of the students are functional. If the link or login credentials are not working, please write to us immediately at hackwithinfy@hackerrank.com, stating the problem along with a screenshot, if possible.

-       To prepare for the contest, students can test their coding skills and practice simple challenges at Solve Me First.

Please note: The shortlisted students will receive two emails – one from HackerRank (support@hackerrankforwork.com) containing the test link and the other from HackWithInfy (containing the instructions for Round 2). Please ensure each shortlisted student from your college has received both emails latest by 8 PM, July 19, 2018.

Rules for Round 2

-       Please note that certain browser requirements have to be met for taking the test. Please use either Google Chrome (latest or version 56) or Firefox (latest or version 51) or IE-Edge version (although this is not recommended).

-       All submissions will be run through a plagiarism detector. In case of code plagiarism, both the contestants will be disqualified from the contest.

-       Round 2 will begin on Monday, July 23, 2018, at 10 AM. The students will have to log in on the provided link and finish the challenge in 180 minutes.

-       The candidates can start taking the test anytime between 10 AM to 11 AM.

-       Each participant will get 180 minutes from the time he/she begins taking the test. For example, if they start the test at 10:30 AM, they will be required to complete it by 1:30 PM.

-       Any participant found using any unfair means at any stage will be instantly disqualified.

-       Should students face any platform issues during the challenge, please ask them to call the HackerRank helpline +91-8880-811-222 or write to hackwithinfy@hackerrank.com.

Scoring for Round 2

-       Each question carries pre-determined marks. A participant’s final score will depend on the number of test cases his/her code submission successfully passes.

We have also sent an email confirmation to each contestant who has qualified for Round 2.

While the test can be taken online from any location, we advise you to provide dedicated labs with stable internet connectivity to the students for the contest. Systems with web camera is a pre-requisite for the students to participate in the challenge. For Round 2, we advise you to block the labs from 9:30 AM to 2.30 PM on Monday, July 23, 2018.

It would be highly appreciated if you could assign faculty members to monitor the students participating from the lab, so that the contest can run without any discrepancies. We request you to report any malpractices or anomalies observed during the contest to our regional recruiter.

The contest will be promoted on social media till the Grand Finale.
