Mandatory Return of Sports Materials – B21, B22, B23, B24 & B25 Batches
It has been observed that several students belonging to the B21, B22, B23, B24 and B25 batches are still in possession of sports equipment/materials issued by the Department of Physical Education for periods extending beyond 3–4 years.
The prolonged retention of these materials has made it difficult for the Department to provide the required sports equipment to other students who are in genuine need of the same. It is therefore essential that all issued sports materials are returned to the Department for proper inventory, maintenance, redistribution and effective utilization.
Accordingly, all students from B21, B22, B23, B24 and B25 batches who are in possession of any sports materials are hereby instructed to return all such materials on or before 1st September 2026 by 5:00 PM.
Fine Structure
Students returning the materials on or before 1st September 2026, by 5:00 PM, will be required to pay a fine of Rs. 500/- per sports material.
After 1st September 2026, fines will be applicable based on the period for which the material has been retained: (Rs500/- per year)
Students are strongly advised to return the materials within the stipulated deadline to avoid the higher fines applicable thereafter
The Department requests all students to cooperate in this process so that sports equipment can be made available fairly and efficiently to students who require it.
