Subject: Guidelines and Code of Conduct for Students During Annual Games 2026–27
All students from P1 to E4, both boys and girls are hereby informed that the Annual Games 2026–27 are being conducted to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and a healthy competitive spirit among students.
All students, including participants, team members, and spectators, are instructed to strictly adhere to the following guidelines throughout the games to ensure the smooth, safe, and fair conduct of all sporting events.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR ALL STUDENTS
1. Discipline and Behaviour
1. All students must maintain discipline, decorum, and proper behaviour at the sports grounds and venues throughout the games.
2. Students must respect fellow players, team members, faculty coordinators, referees, umpires, officials, and organizing staff.
3. Abusive language, verbal arguments, threatening behaviour, and any form of misconduct are strictly prohibited.
2. Non-Interference During Matches
1. No student or group of students shall intervene in, interrupt, or disturb any ongoing match until its completion.
2. Students and spectators must not enter the playing area or interfere with players, referees, umpires, or match officials during a match.
3. Unnecessary shouting, provocation, intimidation, or any activity intended to distract players or disrupt the match is strictly prohibited.
4. Students must not argue with match officials. Any grievance or complaint must be brought to the notice of the concerned faculty coordinator or Sports Cell through the proper channel.
5. Students must remain in designated spectator areas and keep the playing area clear.
3. Spectator Conduct and Team Support
1. Students may encourage and support their respective teams in a positive and respectful manner.
2. Unruly gatherings, crowding around the playing area, and obstructing the movement of players or officials are strictly prohibited.
3. Students must not provoke opposing teams or engage in arguments with supporters of other teams.
4. Use and Protection of Sports Facilities
1. Students must use sports equipment, grounds, courts, and other facilities responsibly.
2. Unauthorised use of sports equipment or entry into restricted areas is strictly prohibited.
3. Students must not damage sports materials, ground markings, nets, goalposts, or other university property.
4. Students must keep the grounds and surrounding areas clean.
5. Safety and Security
1. Students must follow all safety instructions issued by the Sports Cell and event organisers.
2. Physical confrontations and dangerous behaviour that may cause injury to players or spectators are strictly prohibited.
3. Any injury, accident, or safety concern must be immediately reported to the organizers or concerned staff.
6. Match Schedule and Venue Instructions
1. Students must follow the official fixtures, match timings, and venue details published by the Sports Cell.
2. Any changes to match schedules will be communicated through official university channels and the Hub.
3. Students must not enter or use the playing grounds during restricted hours or without authorization.
4. Students must vacate the playing area promptly after the completion of matches.
7. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited during the Annual Games:
Interfering with or disturbing ongoing matches.
Fighting, physical altercations, abusive language, or threatening behaviour.
Deliberately obstructing players, referees, umpires, or organizers.
Unauthorized entry into playing areas or restricted sports facilities.
Damaging university property or sports equipment.
Creating disturbances or attempting to disrupt the smooth conduct of events.
Disobeying instructions issued by authorized university officials.
8. Disciplinary Action
**Any student or group of students from P1 to E4, whether a participant or spectator, found violating these guidelines, disturbing ongoing matches, interfering with the conduct of games, or engaging in any form of misconduct will be referred for disciplinary action as per the University rules.
Depending on the nature and seriousness of the violation, the matter may be reported to the concerned university authorities for appropriate action.
9. General Instructions
All students are requested to:
Maintain sportsmanship, mutual respect, and a healthy competitive spirit.
Support their teams without disturbing other participants or spectators.
Follow the instructions of faculty coordinators, referees, umpires, and organizing staff.
Cooperate with the Sports Cell for the successful and peaceful conduct of the Annual Games.
All students from P1 to E4 (Boys & Girls) are expected to strictly follow these guidelines.
No student or group of students from P1 to E4 (Boys & Girls) is permitted to interfere with, interrupt, disturb, or obstruct an ongoing match under any circumstances, for any reason whatsoever, until the match is officially completed. Any student or group of students violating this instruction will be referred for strict disciplinary action as per University rules.

All students who are experiencing ACER laptop hardware issues, whether the issue is call-logged or not call-logged, are requested to visit the ACER Hardware Engineer Room and report their issue immediately.
Students experiencing any hardware-related problems, such as keyboard, touchpad, battery, adapter, fan noise, camera, speaker, hinges, motherboard, power issues, or any other hardware problem, must bring their laptops to the service room for inspection and repair.

## **REGISTRATION PROCESS**
The registration process consists of the following stages:
### **1. Institute Registration**
Institute registration is **mandatory** and must be completed by the **TPO / Dean / Principal**.
Upon successful registration, a **Unique Institute Code (UIC)** will be generated.
The **UIC must be shared with the concerned Faculty Members and Students** to enable them to complete their respective registrations.
### **2. Faculty Registration**
Faculty Members interested in participating/supporting the TECHgium® initiative can complete their registration through the TECHgium® portal using the institute details/UIC.
Faculty members are encouraged to support and mentor interested students during the participation process.
### **3. Student Registration**
Eligible students can register through the official TECHgium® portal after obtaining the **Unique Institute Code (UIC)** from the institution.
Students are advised to:
