2. Mandatory Eligibility Criteria
Students must carefully verify the following eligibility conditions before registering:
1. Age Limit: Maximum 24 years as on 1 April 2027.
2. Academic Eligibility: No active/live backlogs at the time of application. All previous backlogs must be cleared.
3. No Repeat Year: Candidates who have repeated an academic year are not eligible.
4. No Academic Gaps: No gap year is permitted between Class 10, Class 12, or any year of the graduation programme.
5. Medical Fitness: Candidates must satisfy the prescribed medical fitness standards, including height, weight, eyesight, and colour vision, as applicable to the relevant plant/business.
6. Pan-India Mobility: Candidates must be willing to work at any location across India. Location preferences may be collected for reference; however, final placement will depend on business requirements.
7. Accuracy of Information: All information submitted during registration and subsequent selection stages must be accurate and verifiable.
Important: Candidates who accept an offer and subsequently withdraw due to location constraints may be blacklisted from future opportunities with JSW Group. Offers may also be withdrawn if a candidate is found medically unfit or has provided incorrect or misleading information.
3. Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
1. Registration through the POD AI platform (mandatory; all details must be completed).
2. Initial application screening based on JSW Group's selection criteria.
3. Online Assessment – Round 1: Domain Knowledge and Aptitude.
4. Online Assessment – Round 2: Advanced Cognitive Assessment.
5. Personal Interview.
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to the subsequent selection rounds.

Vassar Labs is a research and development-driven technology company working on solutions in areas such as climate change, water resource management, precision agriculture, environmental monitoring, and smart cities. 3. Key Skills and Technical Expectations
R&D Engineer
• Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), and database concepts.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, Git, and the software development life cycle.
• Analytical thinking, debugging, research, experimentation, and willingness to learn emerging technologies.
Data Scientist
• Good foundation in Python, SQL, statistics, probability, and mathematics.
• Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts.
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.
• Knowledge of data preprocessing, model training, validation, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
• Exposure to AI/ML, image processing, GIS, remote sensing, or satellite data is an advantage.
SDE – Backend
• Programming proficiency in at least one language such as Python, Java, Node.js, or C++.
• Understanding of OOP, DSA, REST APIs, HTTP, SQL, and database concepts.
• Familiarity with Git, debugging, software development practices, and backend services.
SDE – Frontend
• Programming fundamentals and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP, DOM manipulation, Git, browser debugging, and web performance.

*Subject: Welcome to Branch Games 2026–27 – Coordinators, Student Suggestions, Grievances and Commencement of Games**
Dear Students,
The Sports Cell, Department of Physical Education, warmly welcomes all the newly nominated **Faculty Coordinators and Student Coordinators** from the seven Engineering branches for the successful organisation of Engineering Branch Games 2026–27. FTA for nominated coordinator list branch wise.
The nominated coordinators will work in coordination with the Sports Cell to ensure the smooth, systematic, disciplined, and fair conduct of competitions across all branches.
1. Online Coordination Meeting
An online coordination meeting will be convened soon with the nominated Faculty Coordinators and registered Student Coordinators to discuss and finalise the arrangements for the Branch Games. The date, time, and meeting link will be communicated separately.
The meeting will cover the following agenda:
- Formation of branch-wise organising committees and allocation of responsibilities.
- Preparation of game-wise schedules, fixtures, and match timetables.
- Ground preparation, marking, maintenance, and venue allocation.
- Identification of umpires, referees, scorers, and other match officials.
- Verification of pending sports material dues and identification of additional equipment requirements.
- Scheduling of matches without disturbing regular academic activities, monthly tests, and examinations.
- Coordination among Faculty Coordinators, Student Coordinators, organising committees, and the Sports Cell.
2. Submission of Grievances and Suggestions with 7 days from this notice.
All Engineering students are hereby requested to submit their **genuine grievances, valuable suggestions, innovative ideas, and proposed action plans** regarding the conduct of the Annual Branch Games to their respective Student Coordinators or Faculty Coordinators.
Suggestions related to sports facilities, equipment, scheduling, ground arrangements, officiating, discipline, and other organisational matters are welcome.
All submissions will be reviewed, and **genuine, practical, and helpful ideas will be considered for implementation**, wherever feasible, to improve the organisation and overall sporting experience.
3. Commencement of Engineering Branch Games
The Engineering Branch Games 2026–27 are tentatively scheduled to commence as follows:

Students experiencing any hardware-related problems, such as keyboard, touchpad, battery, adapter, fan noise, camera, speaker, hinges, motherboard, power issues, or any other hardware problem, must bring their laptops to the service room for inspection and repair.
Students with pending repairs are especially requested to visit the ACER Hardware Engineer Room, as the required spare parts have arrived.
