Scholarship Renewal Notification (AY 2026–27) -Pre-Registration

This is to inform all eligible students belonging to the BC, EBC, Minority, ST, and Disabled Welfare categories that they must complete the following steps for Scholarship Renewal (AY 2026–27):

Step 1: Pre-Registration
Complete the Pre-Registration process using the following link:
https://tgepass.cgg.gov.in/homeServicePMSSPreRegistrationsRenewal

Step 2: Aadhaar Authentication
After successfully completing the pre-registration, visit your nearest MeeSeva Centre to complete Aadhaar authentication.

Step 3: Scholarship Renewal Registration
Once Aadhaar authentication is completed, proceed with the Scholarship Renewal Registration using the following link:
https://tgepass.cgg.gov.in/homeServicesPMSRenewalReg

Important:
All eligible students are advised to complete Steps 1 and 2 at the earliest so that they are ready to submit their Scholarship Renewal Registration (Step 3) as soon as the required documents are available.

                                                                                                 July- Dec 2026 Run

Dear all,

NPTEL is offering online certification courses of duration 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks courses in
Engineering, Humanities and Sciences domain starting from July 20th 2026 Onwards.

Last Date for Enrolment : July 27, 2026

Enrolment for courses is open NOW till July 27, 2026 for courses in July - Dec 2026 semester.

Choose from 4-week (Set-1 or 2), 8-week (Set-1 or 2) and 12-week (Set-1 only) courses in any field .
Set-1: Courses start on July 20, 2026, (Enrolment closes: July 27, 2026)
Set-2: Courses start on Aug 17, 2026 (Enrolment closes: Aug 17, 2026)

Enrollment to Courses is FREE.
Enrollment to courses and exam registration can be done in ONLINE mode only. The link is
available on NPTEL website..
One may enroll in as many courses as they like.

Certification Exam

Exam Dates - September 19, September 20, 2026 and October 16, October 17, October 18,
October 23, October 24, October 25, 2026
Additional Exam dates (incase if we have no enough capacity on the original exam
date, students will be moved to the additional date) - September 18, 2026 and October
19, October 26, 2026

These courses run from start date July 20th, 2026 and every week there would be online
assignments and at the end of course, there would be a proctored exam, following which a
Certificate is provided from concerned IIT (Center for continuing Education)

Regarding Credit Transfer courses, academic section had already shared the details this semester.

Enrolment is Free for the courses, only criterion is to have a Google account and Interest and
enthusiasm to learn.

For Exam registration and Certification, fee (INR 1000) is applicable.

NPTEL has graciously agreed again to provide Scholarship for our RGUKT Basar students for this
run too ( 1 course per student, i.e. You pay 1000 during exam registration and after passing the
exam 500 would be refunded back into your account) More details on Exam registration and
scholarship (steps) would be updated in a week.
