IMS is seeking an opportunity to address the students of RGUKT Basar, to provide information on career options after graduation, and how to get into the best institutes for a career in management. Every year, around 25 students from the RGUKT campuses enroll with IMS, but this year, we decided to reach out to the students ourselves to help them in these uncertain times. 

About IMS

About the session

IMS primary objective of conducting the webinar session is to help students identify the right career path. Whether a student is planning on pursuing higher studies or taking up a professional opportunity after graduation, it is vital that the field they choose reflects their aspiration, interest and potential. Hence, guidance at this juncture becomes important.

IMS session entitled “Careers After Graduation | MBA options in India” has two main goals:

1.       Help identify the correct way to choose a career path

2.       Provide insight into the field of MBA, and how to start on this career path

 
Date: Thursday, 28 May 2020

Time: 6 pm to 8 pm

Session Plan: 90 minutes covering the above points, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A with the speaker.

About the Speaker

The speaker for the session is Mr Durga Sankar Bussetti, the Chief Mentor for Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. One of the foremost Mentors in the industry, Mr Bussetti has over 16 years of experience and has mentored over 20,000 students to help them achieve their career aspirations.

Mr Bussetti will be assisted by Mr Aditya Prakash Iengar, Lead Mentor for Hyderabad.

About the webinar process

The webinar will be conducted on the Zoom platform, and can be attended on any device (laptop, PC or mobile). Interested students have to register for the session via a registration link, which needs to be shared with them prior to the session, along with an image containing details of the session.

Once we receive the same, we shall generate and share the registration link with you along with the attached image.

                                      INTERACTION WITH MENTORMINDS

MentorMind is an online platform which provides real-time projects through collaboration with real companies. These projects are called Mentornships since they are carried out by the students under the guidance of expert mentors from industry. Successful mentornships are certified by the company. Students can take up multiple mentornships and acquire multiple certificates for successfully completed mentornships. Acquired certificates can then be used for procuring paid internships or even placements in these companies at a later stage. 

Some of the companies that are associated with mentornships in MentorMinds are Uber, jda, Triumph, Clappia, Sunworks Energy, 3DM etc.

MentorMind team is coming to the campus on December 20th, Thursday and will be interacting with the students at 4.30 PM in the AB1 Auditorium. Students from (E1 to E3) ECE and CSE students (and others who are interested in taking up industry projects in coding/IT) can attend the interactive session with MentorMind team.
