IMS is seeking an opportunity to address the students of RGUKT Basar, to provide information on career options after graduation, and how to get into the best institutes for a career in management. Every year, around 25 students from the RGUKT campuses enroll with IMS, but this year, we decided to reach out to the students ourselves to help them in these uncertain times.

About the session

IMS primary objective of conducting the webinar session is to help students identify the right career path. Whether a student is planning on pursuing higher studies or taking up a professional opportunity after graduation, it is vital that the field they choose reflects their aspiration, interest and potential. Hence, guidance at this juncture becomes important.

IMS session entitled “Careers After Graduation | MBA options in India” has two main goals:

1.       Help identify the correct way to choose a career path

2.       Provide insight into the field of MBA, and how to start on this career path

 
Date: Thursday, 28 May 2020

Time: 6 pm to 8 pm

Session Plan: 90 minutes covering the above points, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A with the speaker.

About the Speaker

The speaker for the session is Mr Durga Sankar Bussetti, the Chief Mentor for Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. One of the foremost Mentors in the industry, Mr Bussetti has over 16 years of experience and has mentored over 20,000 students to help them achieve their career aspirations.

Mr Bussetti will be assisted by Mr Aditya Prakash Iengar, Lead Mentor for Hyderabad.

About the webinar process

The webinar will be conducted on the Zoom platform, and can be attended on any device (laptop, PC or mobile). Interested students have to register for the session via a registration link, which needs to be shared with them prior to the session, along with an image containing details of the session.

Once we receive the same, we shall generate and share the registration link with you along with the attached image.

Reverification results for the examinations of AY-20-21_SEM1 [E1,E2 & E3] Remedial held in Feb-2022 are out.

      			NPTEL Online Certification Courses
     		                    Jan- Apr 2020 Run

NPTEL is offering online certification courses of duration 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks courses in Engineering, Humanities and Sciences domain starting from Jan 27th, 2020 Onwards.          

Enrolment for courses is open till Feb 03rd 2020  for courses in Jan-Apr 2020 semester.

Choose from 4-week (Set-1 or 2), 8-week (Set-1 or 2) and 12-week (Set-1 only) courses in any field
•	Set-1: Courses start on 27th Jan 2020 (Enrolment closes: 3rd Feb 2020)
•	Set-2: Courses start on 24th Feb 2020 (Enrolment closes: 24th Feb 2020)


Exam Dates: 29 March 2020 (Sunday); 25 & 26 April 2020 (Saturday and Sunday) - 2 Sessions on each date : 9am- 12 noon; 2pm-5pm.
These courses run from start date Jan27th, 2020 and Feb 24th, 2020 and every week there would be online assignments and at the end of course, there would be a proctored exam, following which a Certificate is provided from concerned IIT (Center for continuing Education) .

Enrollment is Free for the courses, only criterion is to have a Google account and Interest and enthusiasm to learn. For Exam registration and Certification, fee (INR 1000) is applicable.

No Scholarship is extended to faculty, only students can avail NPTEL Scholarship. All RGUKT Basar students who wish to take exam can pay only INR 500 (only one course), details of bulk payment would be shared later in February 1st week 2020.
Same guidelines as above holds good for E4 Free elective students who are taking courses on Credit Transfer.
