As a part of TCS Corporate Social Responsibility, TCS is offering Youth Employment program (Training) for RGUKT Basar Students (Current E3 (B16 Batch) students).

Please find the program details, selection criteria for the Youth Employment Program.

Program Details:
The program comprises of 3 modules covering Business communication, Data Interpretation and Logical reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Basics of Programming, C++, Java, Python. 

The training intervention starts off during the Vth semester and continues in a phased manner till the VIIth semester via Phygital (Physical + Digital) Model.
 
1.1 Program Details 

Module 1	
• Business Skills – 16 hours
• Basics of Programming, C++ – 16 hours
• Java – 16 hours

Module 2	
• Business Skills – 32 hours
• Quantitative aptitude – 16 hours
• Data Interpretation and Reasoning – 16 hours

• Quantitative aptitude – 16 hours
• Data Interpretation and Reasoning – 16 hours
• Python- 16 hours
• Business Skills Interview Preparation- 16 hours

1.2 Selection Criteria:
College to provide the list of students in Semester V Mechanical/Elect/Electronics/Comp Science/IT/or equivalent.

Each batch to have 50 students – comprising of 15~40% SC/ST and rest poor meritorious from all other categories.
 
SC/ST students adhering to the below conditions:
I.	Marks: Consistent academic performance (with scores of 60% and above) in Graduation, Class XII and Class X is required. CGPA - 6.0 for all students.
II.	Breaks/ Gap in Education: There should be no break in studies. However, as an exception, a maximum of 2 years of break in studies is permissible on account of valid reasons.
III.	One backlog is allowed for students.



Poor meritorious students adhering to the below income criteria (along with conditions mentioned above)

IV.	Income Criteria: Family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 6 lakh per annum. Candidates will be required to produce any of the below documents for recording the Income Criteria which is a pre- requisite.
a.	Income Tax Return document of parents/ parent as applicable. (Wherever the Income Tax. Return of parents is not filed/not available; candidates may produce either of the following documents.)
b.	Notarized Undertaking of Annual Income. (Note:  amount of the notarized bond is Rs. 20/-)
c.	Bank Statement of previous 6 months (If Parents have Bank Accounts)


TCS does a preliminary review and finalizes the students in the batches based on the eligibility criteria.

Here are the details of the upcoming stages in the Infosys Campus Recruitment Program for 2020-21:
 
1.	Candidates will take Infosys online test

Registered candidates will appear for the Infosys online test on the confirmed date and time using the link and one-time password shared with the candidates by Infosys Talent Acquisition team.

This online test comprises following sections:

2.	Qualified candidates will appear for virtual interview

If a candidate clears the Infosys online test he/she will progress to the interview round that will assess their technical and behavioral skills.

Interview schedule will be shared with each candidate through mail by Infosys Talent Acquisition team.
Interview results for qualified candidates will be shared with their respective placement office.
 
3.	Selection communication is sent to shortlisted candidates

Candidates who clear the interview round will receive communication regarding selection for a role at Infosys.

Please find the list of candidates from 2021 Batch, who are identified for a direct interview opportunity with TCS, based on their CodeVita performance.

Congratulations to all of them.

TCS will be scheduling the interviews this week for them. You will get a communication soon on their specific date and time slot.

The interviews will be conducted remotely on video (WebEx). Hence, all of you get ready with the required infrastructure (laptop or desktop with webcam and mic, good internet connection to take video calls, power backup).

Note-1: Students have to finish filling the application form on the TCS NextStep portal (if not done already). TCS Application form is one of the required documents in order to attend the interview.
1. Students can go to http://nextstep.tcs.com/campus (TCS NextStep Portal)
2. Student can go to  “Track my Application” link in the NextStep portal. The status should be "Application Received".
3. If the status is Registered, then they can Proceed to complete the Application Form and submit it.
4. Once the status is Application Received, they can go to Application Form PDF and download it.

Note-2: We have received the data from TCS, we just want to cross check if any students got selected apart from the data that we have. Dear Students,

It is hereby informed to all E4 students that PAYPAL conducting a campus challenge recruitment program for 2021 graduating students. Registration closes on 20th Sept 2020.

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE:

1.	You are eligible to register if you are a final year engineering student graduating in 2021 from any stream with CGPA equivalent of 8 and above.
2.	Once registered, you will receive an email with details on the online assessment. Based on your performance in the assessment, you will be invited for an interview.
3.	If you are selected, you will receive an offer for a paid internship and/or a full-time role at one of our tech centers in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
