Job Description:
As a Data Analyst - Apache Superset Maintainer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and development of our Apache Superset environment. You will collaborate with the data team to implement data-driven solutions that align with business goals. This role requires expertise in Python and SQL, with experience in data visualization tools such as Apache Superset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and ensure the optimal performance of Apache Superset dashboards and visualizations.
• Collaborate with data teams to define and implement visualization and reporting solutions based on business needs.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and reporting.
• Write and maintain Python scripts for data processing, transformations, and system automations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Superset environment and ensure high availability.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data models and ETL processes for new and existing data sources.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across multiple systems, ensuring data integrity in all visual outputs.
• Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and findings through reports and visual dashboards.
• Document processes and best practices for using and maintaining the Apache Superset environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends related to data visualization, analytics, and Superset enhancements.
Required Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them for performance.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Superset or other business intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience with ETL tools and processes for transforming and loading data.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in troubleshooting issues.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git for code management.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
