RGUKT Basar in “Top 70 Local Chapters” by SWAYAM- NPTEL,MHRD,INDIA

RGUKT Basar has once again proved its academic caliber.

RGUKT Basar is Awarded as one of the “ Top 70 Local Chapters” out of 4900 + plus  Local Chapters in the country by SWAYAM-NPTEL, MHRD, India.

RGUKT Basar is Currently at 69th position at the National Level and stands among top 2% Local Chapters, There are more than 4900 plus Local chapters in the country.

RGUKT Basar will be Felicitated at an event for the same to be held at IIT Madras on 25th June 2022. A memento and certificate for our institute would be provided by the Director, IIT Madras.

Last semester,  More than 250 students had appeared for NPTEL Courses and 33 of them are Toppers of the respective courses at the National Level and others have got very good grades. 

The award is for the stupendous performance of RGUKT Students at the National level. 

NPTEL and SWAYAM Coordinator of the University Mr.S.Chand Rakesh Roshan, Asst.Professor will be awarded Appreciation award at national level for the dedicated efforts put in for the same.

Due to the focussed and sincere efforts from our end and because of  the complete support from NPTEL, NPTEL has been gracious enough to support our students with scholarships from 2016 onwards, so far our students have received around rupees eleven (11) lakhs scholarship from NPTEL. 

RGUKT Basar administration has facilitated for the smooth conduction of NPTEL courses in the University by providing dedicated infrastructure and also by obtaining all the Contents of NPTEL Courses and having them readily available in the local server for the benefit of students. 

Faculty of the University are also actively completing FDP Programs as part of SWAYAM-NPTEL initiative by UGC.

RGUKT Basar is also the First University in Telangana to implement Credit Transfer (SWAYAM). UGC, MHRD, Govt of India is also very keen in the implementation of MOOC’s in all the Institutes in the country.

RGUKT Basar has always been a forerunner and implementing MOOC’s since 2016 and Credit Transfer Since 2017.
