iB-Hubs, in partnership with Invest India, Unlimit Powered by Reliance, SPIT has launched an IoT focused Idea contest INTERTHRONE. to connect the youth with the experienced and together embrace the next big tech wave in India, the IoT.
THE CONTEST IS NOW OPEN.
InterThrone provides a platform to ideate, create and make the best use of internet and connected devices. It gives a chance to young budding entrepreneurs to participate and build their IoT businesses under the guidance of industry and academic experts.
The contest will feature in following categories :
Connected Homes
FinTech
Smart Village
Automotives/Public Transport
The contest has 3 stages in it. Ideation, Concept & Research, Prototype. It will run over a period of 6 months.
The winning teams across all categories will receive a cash prize of Rs 300,000 while the runner-up will receive Rs 100,000 each.
The aim of this initiative is to incubate 10 best innovations. They will also get free Digital Ocean credits, access to world class research and development facilities of CeNSE, IISc Bangalore and a lot of other significant benefits.

Overview:
KAS Group is actively recruiting Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) from the specified engineering departments. Successful candidates will undergo training and may be confirmed and absorbed into various teams, including Projects, Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing, and Design, following their training evaluation.
Eligibility Criteria
• Degree: BE/BTech in Chemical Engineering
• Commitment: Minimum 3 years from date of joining
• Travel: Willingness to travel for placement in different project sites across India
• Language Proficiency: High level of proficiency in Hindi and English.
Remuneration Package
• Stipend CTC: ₹3,34,292/-
Includes:
• Shared bachelor accommodation at the worksite

• Reimbursement of Medical Health Insurance (as per policy)
• Annual Earned Leave of 24 days

Dear Students & HoD’s,
Greetings,
It is informed by District Collectors in Telangana State, that there is still a requirement of students of P2, E1, E2, E3 and E4 for drafting General election Web-casting duty. So far 1265 students are got enrolled for election duty.
Our end semester examinations will be completed by 05.12.2018 for all years and 06.12.2018 FN for E1. The students of all classes except P1 are to attend Election Webcasting duty on 07/12/2018 i.e., poll day (public holiday).
As per the requisitions made by different District Election Authorities of Telangan State, they are in dire need of Engineering students for Web-casting Election duty. Therefore, the students who are willing to attend Election duty may get register their names in the given format by tomorrow evening 5 pm, so as to send the list of students to Collectors concerned.
• Training will be provided by district authorities in our Campus.
• TA/DA will be paid by Collector as per rules (@ Rs. 600/- per day)
• Transportation will be provided by the District Administration
• A Certificate will be given by the District collector for each student
• All HoD’s requested to convey this message to their students for getting register their names for attending Election duty.
