 Roles and responsibility:
Nature of work includes generation of ground-truth datasets, exploration of open-source SLAM related libraries, implementation of SLAM algorithms for mix indoor-outdoor environment using point cloud sensors (from 2D/3D/LiDAR, RGBD sensors), writing adapter and wrapper codes, simulation environment setup, simulation experiment design, code development for algorithms, testing of developed modules and relevant documentation pertaining to these software engineering activities.

Your profile
The candidate should be extremely proficient with C++ with strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a desire to get things done.
1.	Degree/ Master Degree in Engineering.
2.	Should have strong and clear understanding of OOPs concepts.
3.	Capability to write thread-safe codes using standard C++ library or boost library
4.	Basic knowledge of ROS and eagerness to enhance the language in the given timeline
5.	Time oriented, self-driven and inquisitive

Education: B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MS (Engg or by Research) in CSE/ EE/ ECE/ Mechatronics/ Aero with the first class (65% marks or 7.5 out of 10 CGPA).
-->> Personnel with non-CS background must have certification of completion in the following courses (certificate from the NPTEL, Coursera, EdX, or any other MOOC are also accepted):
Design and analysis of the algorithm. C++.
Data Structure.

Desired Candidate Profile:
1.	Knowledge of C++ (standard 2014 or newer)
2.	Advanced C++ skills, ability to define and write code with templates, Standard Template Libraries (STL), Lambdas, and other C++ 2014 standard constructs.
3.	Knowledge of Software Development using the Robotic Operating System (ROS).
a.	ROS-1 version Melodic or newer.
b.	ROS-2 version Eloquent Elusor or newer.
c.	If possible, experience in development of packages, use of services and action-lib, Use of ROS provided development and build tools, is good to have, but not mandatory
d.	Use of IDEs such as VSCode, Eclipse, KDevelop, or QtCreator.
4.	Ability to write build scripts and knowledge of build systems such as Makefile, CMake, and Ninja.
5.	Documentation.
Note – These skills are good to have but not mandatory!
