Greetings from Alumni Cell...! 

We are planning to organize an interactive session with the present students regarding entrepreneurship skills, career optioning skills and competitive exam preparation skills. As part of this session one of our alumni enterprise, C Square Group, will be sharing their experience.

C Square Group is a startup offering architectural, structural and infrastructure execution services comprising wide pool of well-established architects and engineers (RGUKT Alumni) from various industries. This session will greatly helpful to the students who are having interest in entrepreneurship.

All those interested in Ideas, suggestions and to know one of the ways to successful career are welcome to attend the session.

Venue: The talk is on 11th August 2018,Saturday from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM in AB-I Auditorium.

It is to inform all the students who wish to seek re-admission into Semester – I of the Academic Year 2019 – 20 that, as per the Academic Rules and Regulations, they shall submit an application with all valid supporting documents of the ground on which they are seeking re-admission at the Academic Section, Administrative Building, RGUKT – Basar by 07/05/2019 during all working days from 09:30 AM to 05:00 PM. The students who are failed to produce the valid documents will not be considered for re-admission.

                      Shortlisted for Pre-Placement Interview at Infosys (2022 -23 Graduates)

The following list of students(Graduates of 2022 – 23) have now received a pre-placement interview (PPI) opportunity based on their performance in the Advantage Round for the role of Systems Engineer at Infosys . 
They need to report at Training and Placement office, AB-III, sharp at 12.15 PM on 18-04-2022.

The process will be as follow:
1.	Survey Form - Shortlisted candidates will receive a mail along with a survey form link. The survey form will capture all necessary details with respect to their employment. Please note that it is mandatory for the students to fill the form latest by 18th April, 2022 to take forward their candidature with Infosys. Failure to this may lead to the cancellation of their pre-placement interview.

2.	Interview Round – This will be a virtual video round to assess the candidate’s technical and behavioral competency. The candidates will receive their interview slot details 48 hours prior to the interview.

3.	Declaration – You will receive an email from Infosys with respect to your final status.

4.	Onboarding - Selected students will receive their offer letters one month prior to their date of joining. Their onboarding will be planned based on the business requirements and post completion of all the academic engagements.
 Note: Shortlisted students will also be awarded Infosys Certification based on their performance in this technical interview.

      			NPTEL Online Certification Courses
     		                    Jan- Apr 2019 Run

NPTEL is offering online certification courses of duration 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks courses in Engineering, Humanities and Sciences domain starting from Feb 4th, 2019 Onwards.   

       Enrollment is open for 290 courses in Jan 2019 semester.

Choose from 4-week (Set-1 or 2), 8-week (Set-1 or 2) and 12-week (Set-1 only) courses in any field
•	Set-1: Courses start on 28th Jan 2019 (Enrolment closes: 4th Feb 2019)
•	Set-2: Courses start on 25th Feb 2019 (Enrolment closes: 25th Feb 2019)


•	Exam dates: 31-March (83 courses); 27-April (102 courses) and 28-April (105 courses)

These courses run from start date Jan28th, 2019 and Feb 25th, 2019 and every week there would be online assignments and at the end of course, there would be a proctored exam, following which a Certificate is provided from concerned IIT (Center for continuing Education) .

Enrollment is Free for the courses, only criterion is to have a Google account and Interest and enthusiasm to learn. For Exam registration and Certification, fee (INR 1100) is applicable.

NPTEL is offering 50 percent Scholarship, Only one course per candidate with scholarship, So student needs to pay INR 550 only. For the case of SC/ST/PH, it is INR 275 .

We have written to RGUKT Administration to support NPTEL Students, in the case of approval of the same, INR 275 per student would be credited back to students who all complete the course successfully with a minimum pass. For Students, who do not complete the course, INR 275 would not be refunded. (Please note this change compared to  last semester)

SO, Student has to Pay INR 550 for the Exam Registration and  Rs 275 in the case of  SC/ST/PH.

Hurry up and Grab this opportunity to get a certificate from the IITs and IISc !!!
