Dear Students
      In addition to the existing counselors, three (Two Male and One female) more psychological counselors will now be available in the University counseling cell. 

 .     Students in need of Emotional/mental wellness support can always reach out to them at campus counselling center in AB-III (near the Digital library).
•	You can also reach out to the University counseling center at:    counsellingcentre @rgukt.ac.in
•	Feel free to reach out to the counselors.
•	Students can also report the details of their friends/classmates who they think need Emotional/counselor support to the aforementioned mail ID/Phone number.
•	Details of the students reaching out to the counseling center are kept strictly confidential.

Dear PUC-I students,

It is observed that all the students of PUC-I are not wearing uniforms. As per the directions of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, those who do not wear uniforms and ID cards will not be allowed to enter any of the academic blocks.

The Security force are directed to check whether the students wear uniforms and ID cards, otherwise the students may not be allowed into any of the academic blocks.

We strongly believe that every youth has the potential to make a difference in their personal lives as well as the community around them. We build competencies, which would help youth seek careers and prosper in their career of choice. We bring excitement into learning by developing and harnessing their curiosity and intrinsic motivation for learning.

Rubicon’s “Connect with Work” Program, supported by Barclays aims at improving the employability skills of the youth. This initiative is supported by Barclays. Under this program, students will be trained by Corporate Trainers to enhance their Life skills which would help them significantly to increase their chance of succeeding in a job interview. This program is offered free of cost to the current Pre-final year and final year students of RGUKT, Basar. Please go through the complete program details as shared below.

Program Details:

1.   24 hrs. classroom training on Interview Skills (Details mentioned below). Due to pandemic this is divided into two parts – 18 hours virtual and 6 hours classroom training. 18 hours of virtual training will be delivered by a Corporate Trainer using Zoom/Webex as a platform – training will be conducted 2 hours per day for 9 days. 6 hours of face to face training will be done once the college reopens.

2.   Industry visit of students to various organizations.

3.    Post Placement Mentoring and Career Counselling support to placed students for one year.

In Life Skills training, we will be covering the below topics:
1.         Organizational Structure
2.         Public Speaking
3.         Presentation Skills
4.         E-mail Etiquette
5.         Grooming
6.         Group Discussion
7.         Personal Interview
8.         Assessment will be conducted on Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

All the students of current E3 & E4 students are eligible for the program. It is mandatory for students to do registrations to get eligibility for a training program.

Students are required to choose college name in CSR(registration) link as follows:

Dear Students,

It is hereby informed to all aspirants of THOUGHTWORKS RECRUITMENT DRIVE that the drive is scheduled on 20th July 2019, 8:45AM at AB-I auditorium (Pre-Placement Talk) followed by written test at AB-II.
PROCESS OF SELECTION:

1. Interview: HackerEarth test
Focus Area: 2 programming questions to be solved in 1hour time. Focus will be on algorithms and basic programming.

2. Interview: Pair Programming 
Focus Areas: A problem statement is given and depending on the time allocated, the candidate is expected to approach the problem in the best suited way as per his/her understanding. The assessment weightage is more on the way the candidate thinks, designs the solution and approaches the problem. The candidate is expected to write clean, understandable and extendable code. One of the Thought Workers will pair up with them in this round.
Duration: 2 hours

3. Interview: Technical Interview
Focus Areas: OOPs Design, Logical Problem Solving (Data Structure, Algorithms), DB, Technology Depth/Breadth and Prior experience on Projects, if any. 
Duration: 1 – 1.5 hrs
 
4. Interview: Leadership & Cultural round 
Focus Areas: Ownership, Ability to influence, Resilience
