 Dear Students,

Engineering design of foundation for medium to high rise structure is a creative, iterative and open-ended process, subject to many constraints. The complexity and uncertainty involved with the natural geological environment makes design of foundation for structure unique. Earthquakes are the naturally occurring events, which are mostly responsible for the property damage all around the world.

Preventing seismic events is not possible, however evaluation of seismic risks and taking effective measures in foundation design of medium & high-rise structures is very much possible, for such emergencies.

To fulfill the current day requirements, Civil Engineers need awareness and knowledge of the advancements made in Site-Specific Geotechnical Investigations for Medium & High-Rise Buildings. To meet these demands a short course on “Site-Specific Geotechnical Investigations for Medium & High-Rise Buildings” is planned at International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-H) during 3-5 November 2016
. The short course focuses mainly on the recent advancements made in Site-Specific Analysis of Medium & High-Rise Buildings. Dr. BV Pattabhiram is a Post Graduate in Psychology, Philosophy, a PG Diploma holder in Guidance and Counselling, and Ph.D. from Osmania University (Yoga & Hypnotism - A Pragmatic Approach). He has been conducting workshops on Soft Skills / HRD; and motivating Students, Teachers, Professionals, Entrepreneurs, and Leaders on various topics across India, USA, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Arab Countries and helping people to overcome their Stress & Fears, and achieve the desired success.
His approach to personal growth and personality development has been proven successful over 30 years of treating, motivating and counseling people. NPTEL is offering online certification courses of duration 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks courses in Engineering, Humanities and Sciences domain starting from July 25th 2022 Onwards.

Enrollment for courses is open Now.

These courses commence from July 25th 2022.

The Tentative dates of exams for these courses are 25th September 2022 and 29, 30th October 2022.

 
 These courses run from start date July 25th 2022 and every week there would be online assignments and at the end of course, there would be a proctored exam, following which a Certificate is provided from concerned IIT (Center for continuing Education)
