Dear Aspirants OF JSW,

JSW has planned to conduct an online assessment in place of the initial round of interviews.
Registered students need to take the assessment from T&P Test Centre, AB-III.

Below is the schedule for the JSW assessment.

Date: 8th February 2023
Day: Wednesday
Test Duration: 60 Mins
Test Window:  90 Mins
Timings: 3:00 PM
Question Type: MCQ

Instructions for the test:

To avoid delays, please log onto the test link 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

The invitation to the test will be sent to each student's registered email address.

The test is accessible ONLY on Laptops & Desktops with cameras enabled. (During the test, kindly refrain from taking any calls or viewing any messages because doing so would cause the test to be suspended). 

The test runs best on Google Chrome. Please make the browser update. Download Google Chrome if you don't already have it.

If using MAC OS then the test will run in Google chrome only. Kindly ask the students to install chrome's latest version.

Windows 7 and later are required to run the test.

The test will ask for authorization to use the location, microphone, camera, etc. Please grant the permissions.

Click on "Take Assessment" in the invite email. Please provide your contact information.

At any time during the exam, you can click on the Instructions / Help icon in the top right corner to familiarise yourself with the various controls in the test module.

While taking the test, kindly refrain from closing or refreshing the browser.

During the test, you are urged to keep all browsers, mobile apps, and notifications turned off.

Please do not switch browsers while taking the test. It will lead to violations and further disqualification.

Please remember to click Finish Test once you have finished the test.

In order for your test to run, please make sure that you have logged out of all assessment platforms and online test sessions.

Make sure the internet speed is optimum. The ideal speed is 1 Mbps or higher.

Make sure the internet data package is more than 300 MB.

Always make sure that the illumination in the space is adequate; otherwise, if your face is not clearly visible, violations may occur.

Always keep the laptop/desktop in continuous charging mode.

Please refrain from any misconduct as it may result in disqualification. It is not permitted to use earbuds, AirPods, headsets, or any other hearing devices.

Please perform all the system and connectivity test links recommended checks twice today and once more 30 minutes before the test. As a result, you will experience fewer problems during the test.

   Greetings from the Organizing Committee, Faculty Development Programme,

We are writing to extend a warm invitation to you to attend a one week Faculty Development Programme going to be organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 3D Printing and Design , which is scheduled to take place from 13-02-2023 to 17-02-2023. This programme is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the latest developments and applications of 3D printing technology, and how it can be integrated into teaching and research activities.

As you are well aware, 3D printing is rapidly transforming the way we approach design, manufacturing, and product development. This programme will provide you with an opportunity to learn from experts in the field, and to network with fellow faculty members and industry professionals.

The programme will feature a series of lectures, hands-on workshops, and interactive discussions, and will cover a range of topics, including:

i. To update the participants with the state of the art 3D Printing Technologies.
ii. To enable the participants to have hands-on experience on various types of 3D Printing techniques, Modelling and slicing software’s and demo on  various  3D Printing Technologies.
iii. To enable participants to learn the applications of 3D Printing like Biomedical, Aerospace, Automobiles etc.
iv. To enable the participants to research in the area of 3D printing and to make use of 3D printing in research as a prototyping tool.
