This is to inform all the concerned PUC-1 first year year students (AY 2021-2022 SEM 2) that the PUC 1 Physics end semester lab examinations would be conducted from 26th July to 03rd August 2022. All the students should submit the record books at the time of lab examination, students should bring their identity cards with them and must report on time as per their respective schedule shared in the attachment below.

In the best interests of PUC-I and II students, it has been decided to extend the instruction period from July 26 to July 30, 2022 to complete/revise the syllabus . As like before, all classes will be held according to the timetable. All students are instructed to attend all classes.

Dear Students,
	
The Infosys online test for SP and DSE roles has been scheduled for Sunday, 31st July, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The students will receive an email from Talent.Acquisition@infosys.com 48 hours before the scheduled test date and time, containing the test link, one-time password, and other details. The shortlisted students have to check their spam/junk folders in case they do not receive the email in their inbox 48 hours before the test day.
 
Candidates are advised to do the following before taking the test Infosys online test:
1.	Read the ‘Guidelines and Rules for Infosys online test’ mentioned below.
2.	Make sure your desktop/laptop supports the test environment by taking this system-readiness test and use the same device for the online test. If a candidate fails to appear in the test due to system incompatibility, they will not be allowed another attempt.
3.	Candidates must reset the one-time password they receive with the examination link at least 24 hours before the test. In case they forget their new password and enter a wrong one to start the test, they might get temporarily blocked. In that situation, the candidate should clear the browser cache, refresh, and try again after some time with the correct password.

                                      GUIDELINES AND RULES FOR INFOSYS ONLINE TEST

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

-->Please ensure that the desktop/laptop computer you plan to use for taking the online test fulfills the system requirements shared below. Taking the test on a mobile or a tablet is not recommended. 
• i3 Core processor or higher 
• 4GB RAM 
• Functional webcam. You can test your webcam at https://webcamtests.com/ 
• Google Chrome browser version 70 or above with a disabled pop-up blocker. Taking the test on any other web browser is not recommended 
• A stable internet connection of at least 2 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload speed 
• Uninterrupted power supply for the duration of the test.

LOCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Select a location where you can remain undisturbed for the entire duration of the test. 
• The desk or the walls around you must not have any writing or pictures of people on them. 
• Login within 30 minutes of the start of the test slot time as the login window will remain open only for 30 minutes once the test time begins. For example, if as per the slot, the test is to begin at 11 AM, then you must log in and start the test latest by 11:30 AM. If you miss the login window, you will no longer be able to take the online test for the Infosys Recruitment Process. No exemption will be made in this regard. 

BEHAVIORAL GUIDELINES: 

The entire duration of the test is proctored. You will be on video and therefore, please ensure the following: • You must dress as though you were in a public setting 

• You must not use headphones, earphones, or any other type of external audio equipment 
• You must not communicate with any other person by any means 
• You must not leave the video frame during the exam for any reason. 

EXAMINATION RULES:

• The Infosys online test for campus recruitment program is an online Web-proctored test that will be conducted on the Infosys Assessment Platform. 
• This round is an advanced test that will assess your programming and other technical skills. 
• You will receive the examination link and the one-time password at least 48 hours before the test. You will have to reset the password at least one day before the test. In case you enter the wrong password on the day of the test, you might get temporarily blocked. In that situation, clear the browser cache, refresh, and try again after some time with the correct new password. 
• The test will contain three programming-based that will have to be answered within three hours. 
• Each question will have a different weightage of marks and varying difficulty levels. 
• You will have the option to choose from a list of common programming languages and submit your solution in a preferred language. 
• All submissions for the online test will be evaluated by the judging panel on the following parameters: 

         o Number of test cases that the code passes and code efficiency 
         o Marks are assigned to the questions based on the difficulty levels and the solutions will be evaluated accordingly 
          o Plagiarism is not encouraged and there shall be negative marking for plagiarism. 

• Candidates who clear this round will move to the interview round of either the Specialist Programmer role or the Digital Specialist Engineer role based on their performance in the online test. The interview round for these roles will assess the technical and behavioral skills of the candidate.

 Important note: If any malpractice or violation of instructions is detected during the test, the candidate’s application will be canceled and he/she will be debarred from the Infosys Recruitment Process.
	• The room should be as quiet as possible. Ensure there is no background noise such as music, television, or chatting of   people. 
	• The lighting in the room must be bright enough to be considered ‘daylight’ quality. Overhead lighting is optimal. Ensure that the source of light is not behind you. 
	• Ensure you have a comfortable chair and are seated upright. Your face should be clearly visible so that it can be constantly captured on the webcam. Partial face visibility will be considered a violation of instructions for the test. 
	• Ensure that there are no people around you. If anyone else apart from you is detected in the frame of the video captured, you will be disqualified from Infosys Recruitment Process. 
	• The use of online communication applications during the test is strictly prohibited. Close all programs and applications, including communication applications like Skype, Microsoft Teams, etc. before you begin to take the test. 
	• Use of mobile phone for any reason other than mobile hotspot and tethering is prohibited and will lead to disqualification from Infosys Recruitment Process. 
	• You may keep stationery items with you for taking the test. The use of calculators and similar devices is not allowed during the test. 
	• Do not switch out of the test screen. Switching out of the test screen to another window will be treated as a violation of the code of conduct for the test and is automatically tracked
