Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
•	Design and develop low to moderate complexity web-based or desktop applications, including statistical reports, database management systems, data conditioning tools, decision-support systems, and database marketing applications.
•	Implement and execute unit tests, as well as automate testing processes.
•	Build end-to-end solutions for projects of low to moderate complexity.
•	Conduct necessary analysis and assist in the development of functional specifications, with guidance.
•	Provide time estimates for proposed application development or enhancements, subject to review.
•	Develop applications of simple to medium complexity based on predefined specifications and requirements.
•	Contribute to the creation of technical design documentation for assigned development tasks.
•	Assist in defining specifications and requirements for small to medium applications and application enhancements.
•	Develop supporting documentation for client and internal applications under guidance.
•	Adhere to departmental standards for systems, programming, testing, and documentation.
•	Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

This is to inform all the E2 and E3 students of AY22-23, Semester-II – that the Academic Section is compiling the students’ attendance so as to finalize the list of students who are eligible to be permitted for the End Semester Examinations (ESEs) to be held in August 2023. The list may be made available to the students by evening of 26/07/2023.
As you all know, as per the academic rules, the students who have less than 75% are not permitted to appear for ESEs. However, in special cases, for valid medical reason, the University may codone the deficiency in attendance to the extent of 10% on medical grounds subject to submission of valid medical documents that are given below.
1.	Medical Certificate from the Doctor/Hospital where the student has taken treatment 
2.	Medical prescriptions as advised by the Doctor
3.	Other medical reports (if applicable to the case)
This may be noted that there shall not be any mismatch among the dates on medical certificates, medical prescriptions and medical reports.
Therefore, the students who think they are probable to be fallen under below 75% attendance category are advised to keep ready the above documents beforehand so that there shall not be any delay in considering the request of the student.

Dear Students,
Get ready for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills at the SIH Hackathon! Here are the key details you need to know:
Team Composition:
●	All team members should be from the same college; no inter-college teams are allowed.
●	Members from different branches of the same college/institute are encouraged to form a team.
●	Each team must have 6 members, including the team leader.
●	At least one female team member is mandatory.
Skills Requirement:
●	For the software edition, the majority of the team members MUST be well versed with programming skills.
●	For the hardware edition, we encourage multi-disciplinary teams, meaning your team should have a good mix of Mechanical Engineers, Electronic Engineers, Product Designers, Programmers, etc.
Selection Process:
●	An Internal Hackathon will be conducted and the top 35 teams will be selected by internal judges and sent for the main Smart India Hackathon event.
●	The date, time, and venue of the internal hackathon and further details will be shared soon.
