Dear Students,
Greetings from Infosys.

Round 1 details for your institute are as follows :-

Test Start Time: 10:30 am (login window will be for 30 minutes )
Duration: 3 hours
No. of coding questions: 3
Mode: Online internet-based test ( please ensure you have good internet connectivity of 2 Mbps for a smooth experience )

A detailed emails containing all the necessary information has been sent to every registered student.
Please note: Registered students will receive two emails – one from HackerRank (support@hackerrankforwork.com) containing the test link and the other from infytq@infosys.com (containing the instructions for Round 1). Please ensure each student who has registered from your college for HackWithInfy has received both emails. If a registered student does not receive the email from HackerRank by June 28 – 8 pm, or if the student is unable to access the participation link, please inform the the placement office immediately with student’s registration details.

Rules and instructions for Round 1

1) It is an individual online test of 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes. If test is started at 10 AM, it will have to complete by 1 PM
2) The login window is for 30 minutes and participants need to begin the test within this time window.
3) Participants can take the test from anywhere but we recommend them to check with their placement officer to see if labs have been arranged in their college.
 4) Browser requirements for the test: Google Chrome (latest or version 56) or Firefox (latest or version 51).
 5) All code submissions are run through a plagiarism detector. In case of plagiarism, all the participants involved will be disqualified from the competition. Also, any participant found using any unfair means at any stage will be instantly disqualified.
 6) Test will have 3 problem statements each of which will have a pre-determined score. A participant’s final score will depend on the number of test cases his/her code submission successfully passes.
 7)  Participants can test their hacking skills and practice simple challenges at Solve Me First .

Industry-Ready Training Program in VLSI Design / Embedded System Design in Collaboration with VEDA IIT and Consortium of Industries

All B.Tech IV Year I & II Semester students of ECE / EEE / EIE / CSE branches are hereby informed that RGUKT-Basar, in collaboration with VEDA IIT and the Consortium of Industries, is offering an Industry-Ready Training Program in VLSI Design / Embedded System Design for the Academic Year 2025-2026.
The program is designed under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and includes a provision to transfer credits earned at VEDA IIT towards the award of the respective UG degree at RGUKT-Basar.
Course Highlights:
•	Specialized training in VLSI Design / Embedded System Design
•	Curriculum designed in alignment with industry standards

What to carry for the interviews (please communicate the below to candidates and ask them to carry a printout of the email that you send to them)

Documents to be carried with you: 2 copies of Resume, printout of TCS Application Form, Govt ID Proof or College ID, a printout of this email, all your academic documents (Xth, XIIth, and B Tech / M Tech semester marksheets until the latest received).  Please don't bring original marksheets or certificates, only photocopies need to be carried. Please note that you will NOT be allowed if you are not carrying Govt ID / College ID.

    Please do not bring any electronic gadgets / devices for the interview (USB drive, laptop, hard disk, tab, etc).
    Do not carry any valuables with you when coming for the interview.
    Dress Code: Formals
    There are three stages of interview: Technical, Managerial and HR.  All rounds of interview will be completed on the same day, we will club these rounds as far as possible.
    You will be assessed on the following areas: subject knowledge, coding knowledge and aptitude, analytical ability, awareness about IT Industry, communication skills, attitude.
    You will have to make your own travel / accommodation arrangements, for appearing for the interview.
    Interview process would be a day long event and might stretch till late in the evening. Please plan accordingly.
    Only candidates would be allowed inside the venue. Parents, friends, relatives etc will not be allowed inside the interview venue (Even if they are TCS Employees). As this is an office premises, there will also NOT be any waiting area outside for parents or other visitors.

    Photography is not allowed inside the office premises.

    Candidates must be meeting the TCS Eligibility Criteria to attend the interview (i.e. 60% throughout education, not more than one pending backlog, should not have any extended education, should not have any compartmental pass, not more than 2 years of gap).  Candidates who are not meeting the criteria will not be considered for the process even if they have cleared the test.

    Any candidate found to indulge in any malpractice will be sent back immediately. They will be disqualified from the process and not be allowed to attend any further interview.

    TCS does not charge any fee at any stage of recruitment or selection process nor has authorized anyone to charge.
