It is hereby informed to all the students of E1 (E1-all branches) that an Acquiring Oral Communication Competence Course (AOCCC) is being offered through the English department date: 6-07-2017 onwards. All those who are determined to overcome their problems in speaking in English are expected to gather at AB-02, room no ( 014 ), at time: 4:30pm, for confirmation of the course enrollment. 

The Objectives of the Course
	Dialogue conversation
	Acquiring adequate vocabulary to secure grade B+ as per the (CEFR- World standard Scale used for measuring speaking skills)
	Communicating in social or public situation/ contexts
	Project report submission / presentations using different ICT tools
	Various Language expressions used in GDs and Debates
	Different technical & language expressions usages to impress the interviewers
	Testing speaking skills using various standard-scales and to improve your speaking skills. 
	Measuring and grading speaking skills in terms of grammar competence; tenses usage, vocabulary and other elements etc.

University of Mumbai, and Goa University, in association with Vijnana Bharati Mumbai and Maritime Research Centre, Pune, is organizing an Underwater Domain Awareness (UDA) Summer School in Mumbai and Goa. This will be a six week project based internship, essentially to create awareness about the ocean and relevant acoustic technology driven maritime strategies with in-depth research and analysis.

UDA Summer School aims to connect the academia to the stake holders including industry, research organizations, strategic think tanks and the users with application oriented human resource development and technology awareness. A detailed concept note is attached for your kind perusal.

The UDA Summer School 2018 was well received across the stakeholders and participants. The projects undertaken by the participants had significant relevance to the SAGAR vision of the Honourable Prime Minister. The valedictory function for the event was held at the office of the Honourable Chief Minister of Goa, Late Shri Manohar Parrikar and he being the Former Defence Minister appreciated the concept. •	Collaborate well with engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant and efficient AI based solutions for business problems

•	Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of AI platforms 
•	Provide real time knowledge transfer to the team on the Requirements based on client facing meetings and white boarding workshops
