All interested and eligible students who wish to represent their PUC in **Basketball** are encouraged to attend and participate in the selection trials.

 GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPANTS

1. All interested **PUC-I and PUC-II Boys and Girls** are eligible to participate in the selection trials.
2. Participants are requested to report at the **Basketball Court, Shathavahana Ground, at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time** for attendance and registration.
3. Students must wear **proper sports attire and suitable basketball shoes/footwear**.
4. Participants should carry their **college identity card**, if required for verification.
5. Students must maintain proper discipline and follow the instructions given by the **Physical Education Faculty and Selection Committee**.
6. Selection will be based on the participant's **fitness, agility, ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting, defensive skills, game awareness, teamwork and overall performance**.
7. Participation in the selection trials **does not guarantee selection** to the final Basketball Team.
8. The decision of the **Selection Committee and Department of Physical Education shall be final**.
9. Selected players will be informed about further **training sessions, practice schedules and upcoming fixtures** through the official communication channels.
10. All participants are expected to demonstrate **discipline, sportsmanship and a positive competitive spirit** throughout the selection process.

 IMPORTANT

This is an excellent opportunity for talented Basketball players to showcase their skills and earn a place in the **PUC Boys' and Girls' Basketball Teams for the Annual Games 2026**.

Hyderabad: State Bank of India through its CSR wing SBI Foundation, has announced the third edition of its flagship programme - Asha Scholarship, guaranteeing support to 10,000 meritorious students coming from underprivileged backgrounds nationwide. Through this initiative students from sixth grade to those pursuing postgraduate programmes can avail a benefit of *15,000 to 20,00,000. Engineering design of foundation for medium to high rise structure is a creative, iterative and open-ended process, subject to many constraints. The complexity and uncertainty involved with the natural geological environment makes design of foundation for structure unique. Earthquakes are the naturally occurring events, which are mostly responsible for the property damage all around the world.

Preventing seismic events is not possible, however evaluation of seismic risks and taking effective measures in foundation design of medium & high-rise structures is very much possible, for such emergencies.

To fulfill the current day requirements, Civil Engineers need awareness and knowledge of the advancements made in Site-Specific Geotechnical Investigations for Medium & High-Rise Buildings. To meet these demands a short course on “Site-Specific Geotechnical Investigations for Medium & High-Rise Buildings” is planned at International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-H) during 3-5 November 2016
. The short course focuses mainly on the recent advancements made in Site-Specific Analysis of Medium & High-Rise Buildings.
