 Any eligible engineering candidate from Batch of 2019 can apply for this opportunity. 

Note: 
Candidates who have already registered for TCS CodeVita, need not register again.  If they have not yet filled up their Application Form, please advise them to do so.  Once they fill Application Form correctly, they will get "Apply for Drive" link in NextStep portal. If a candidate has already completed filling Application Form, they will now get "Apply for Drive" link in the NextStep portal.  They simply have to click on this.

Please ensure that the three steps - Registration, filling up of Online Application Form, and clicking on "Apply for Drive" link - are completed well before 20-Aug-18.  Only if the candidates complete ALL THREE STEPS before 20-Aug-18, they will be able to participate in the Online Test.

*TECHgium® 10th Edition – Registration & Live Q&A Session*

All **Faculty Members and Students** are hereby informed that registrations for **TECHgium® 10th Edition**, conducted by **L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS)**, are currently underway.

TECHgium® is an innovation challenge that provides engineering students an opportunity to develop and present innovative solutions to real-world engineering problems.

### **ELIGIBILITY**

The competition is open to:

* **2nd Year UG Engineering students**
* **Pre-Final Year UG Engineering students**
* **Final Year UG Engineering students**
* **PG Engineering students**
* Students from **any engineering discipline / stream** are eligible to participate.
* Students may participate **individually or as a team**, as permitted under the TECHgium® guidelines.

Interested students are encouraged to explore the available challenge statements and identify suitable ideas/solutions for participation.

## **REGISTRATION PROCESS**

The registration process consists of the following stages:

### **1. Institute Registration**

Institute registration is **mandatory** and must be completed by the **TPO / Dean / Principal**.

Upon successful registration, a **Unique Institute Code (UIC)** will be generated.

The **UIC must be shared with the concerned Faculty Members and Students** to enable them to complete their respective registrations.

### **2. Faculty Registration**

Faculty Members interested in participating/supporting the TECHgium® initiative can complete their registration through the TECHgium® portal using the institute details/UIC.

Faculty members are encouraged to support and mentor interested students during the participation process.

### **3. Student Registration**

Eligible students can register through the official TECHgium® portal after obtaining the **Unique Institute Code (UIC)** from the institution.

Students are advised to:

* Complete their registration with accurate details.
* Select/identify suitable challenge statements.
* Form their teams, wherever applicable.
* Prepare and submit their innovative concepts as per the prescribed guidelines and timelines.

The Government of India has declared the period from 9th August 2016 to 23rd August 2016 as Azadi 70 – Yaad karo kurbani (Freedom Fortnight) and students, all over the country should celebrate the fortnight in a befitting manner. On the terminal day of this fortnight i.e., Tuesday 23rd August, the Government has insisted on having a mass recitation of the National Anthem by all students in the educational institutions across the country. 

In pursue of the orders issued by Government of India, the Vice-chancellor hereby direct all the faculty and students to recite national anthem tomorrow in their respective classes or laboratories at 12.00 PM. The faculty conducting the lectures/labs during this period are requested to make sure that the recitation takes place at the mentioned time without fail.

However PUC 1 students are to assemble in SAC auditorium at 12 PM, where the hon’ble Vice Chancellor will be present along with all administrative and teaching staff for the recitation
