ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
You will be part of the Infrastructure Team manning mission critical servers and databases that are lifeline to our cloud business. You will be primarily responsible for  fortune 1000 companies to have the best experience of using a business to business cloud application.
 
Looking for applicants who have strong analytical skills, highly organized and detail oriented.
 
•         Provide technical support on a 24x7 shift based support model; L1 level support on Linux, Network and other areas of Infrastructure.
•         Monitor Requests Helpdesk queues and own Requests as logged
•         Respond to Requests and provide Technical Support as per SOPs in a timely and effective manner
•         Monitor and handle any alerts and notifications from monitoring tools for Server, Database, Applications.
•         Production code deployments.
•         Manage the Virtual Machines and Virtual Hosts and its resources
•         Perform installations/patching of operating system, software installation, and system backups.
•         Handle all the Service Requests related to Access, Security, Installations and system changes.
•         Troubleshoot the IT infrastructure Issues. Escalate on time to next level as per the escalation matrix in timely manner.
•         Communicate with all the stakeholder’s through notification and ITSM tools.
•         Automation using scripting like Pearl, Bash, Python – Write new scripts/ update existing scripts
Note: This role involves rotational shift/Nightshifts, candidates must be open to work in shifts.
