Dear all,

NPTEL is offering online certification courses of duration 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks courses in
Engineering, Humanities and Sciences domain starting from July 20th 2026 Onwards.

Last Date for Enrolment : July 27, 2026

Enrolment for courses is open NOW till July 27, 2026 for courses in July - Dec 2026 semester.

Choose from 4-week (Set-1 or 2), 8-week (Set-1 or 2) and 12-week (Set-1 only) courses in any field .
Set-1: Courses start on July 20, 2026, (Enrolment closes: July 27, 2026)
Set-2: Courses start on Aug 17, 2026 (Enrolment closes: Aug 17, 2026)

Enrollment to courses and exam registration can be done in ONLINE mode only. The link is
available on NPTEL website..
One may enroll in as many courses as they like.

Certification Exam

Exam Dates - September 19, September 20, 2026 and October 16, October 17, October 18,
October 23, October 24, October 25, 2026
Additional Exam dates (incase if we have no enough capacity on the original exam
date, students will be moved to the additional date) - September 18, 2026 and October
19, October 26, 2026

These courses run from start date July 20th, 2026 and every week there would be online
assignments and at the end of course, there would be a proctored exam, following which a
Certificate is provided from concerned IIT (Center for continuing Education)

Regarding Credit Transfer courses, academic section had already shared the details this semester.

Enrolment is Free for the courses, only criterion is to have a Google account and Interest and
enthusiasm to learn.

For Exam registration and Certification, fee (INR 1000) is applicable.

NPTEL has graciously agreed again to provide Scholarship for our RGUKT Basar students for this
run too ( 1 course per student, i.e. You pay 1000 during exam registration and after passing the
exam 500 would be refunded back into your account) More details on Exam registration and
scholarship (steps) would be updated in a week.

Scholarship Renewal Notification (AY 2026–27) -Pre-Registration

This is to inform all eligible students belonging to the BC, EBC, Minority, ST, and Disabled Welfare categories that they must complete the following steps for Scholarship Renewal (AY 2026–27):

Step 1: Pre-Registration
Complete the Pre-Registration process using the following link:

Step 2: Aadhaar Authentication
After successfully completing the pre-registration, visit your nearest MeeSeva Centre to complete Aadhaar authentication.

Step 3: Scholarship Renewal Registration
Once Aadhaar authentication is completed, proceed with the Scholarship Renewal Registration using the following link:

Important:
All eligible students are advised to complete Steps 1 and 2 at the earliest so that they are ready to submit their Scholarship Renewal Registration (Step 3) as soon as the required documents are available.

The students listed below are requested to bring their laptops and visit the ACER Hardware Engineer Room (ABI, Opposite Room No. 205) to complete their pending repairs, as the required spare parts have arrived.

Other students who are experiencing any laptop hardware-related issues (such as keyboard, touchpad, battery, adapter, fan noise, camera, speaker, hinges, motherboard, power issues, or any other hardware problem) are also requested to visit the Hardware Engineer Room and get their laptops inspected and repaired.

Please utilize this opportunity to resolve your laptop issues at the earliest, as the warranty period is going to expire soon.

Dear Students,

This is a reminder to all students in the departments and academic years listed in the earlier notification dated 15/07/2026 that registration for the prescribed NPTEL Courses for AY 2026–27, Semester–I is mandatory.

All concerned students are advised to complete the registration process for their allotted NPTEL courses within the stipulated deadline, if they have not already done so.

The prescribed NPTEL courses include:

Credit Transfer Courses
Supplementary Courses

Students are also instructed to attend the courses regularly and comply with all the guidelines issued by NPTEL.

Important:

Registration for the prescribed NPTEL courses is compulsory.

Students who fail to register for the allotted NPTEL courses will not be eligible to appear for the End Semester Theory (EST) Examinations for AY 2026–27, Semester–I.

The details of the allotted courses, including the course commencement date, duration, and other relevant information, are available in the enclosed list circulated earlier.

Students who have already completed the registration may ignore this email.
