GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPANTS
1. Reporting & Dress Code
Report 15–20 minutes early.
Wear proper sports attire (T-shirt, shorts, sports shoes).
Carry your Institute ID card.
2. Skill Evaluation Criteria
Selectors will test:
Serving consistency
Receiving & passing

Spiking power & accuracy

Footwork, agility, and movement
Team coordination & game IQ
3. Discipline & Behaviour (Strict Rules)
Strictly no abusive, foul, or disrespectful language.
Misbehaviour with players, officials, or selectors leads to instant disqualification.
Follow all instructions given by the selection committee.
Maintain proper sportsmanship during trials and matches.
Any form of violence, arguing, threatening, or damaging equipment will not be tolerated.
4. Health & Safety Instructions
Warm-up is compulsory before matches.
Inform selectors immediately in case of an injury.
Students with recent or serious injuries should not participate without medical clearance.
5. Final Selection Announcement
The decision of the Selection Committee is final.
Selected students will be notified through an official notice / WhatsApp group.
Selected players must attend all practice sessions until the AIU tournament.

Registrations for Student coordinators/Volunteers – PUC Level Sports
All PUC students are hereby informed that registrations are open for Student Volunteers for Sports Activities. A total of 08 volunteers will be selected—04 Boys and 04 Girls—to assist in organizing and coordinating sports events at the PUC level.
Eligibility:
Must be a PUC-1 or PUC-2 student
Interested in sports and event coordination
Disciplined, responsible, and punctual
Available during all sports events and meetings
Guidelines for Sports Coordinators
The following guidelines are issued for all Sports Coordinators to ensure smooth planning, management, and execution of sports activities at RGUKT Basar.
1. Roles & Responsibilities
Plan and schedule sports events at the PUC level in coordination with the Sports In-Charge.
Supervise student volunteers and allocate duties during events.
Oversee match arrangements, equipment, and ground/court setup
Ensure that all events begin and end on time.
Maintain discipline and promote fair play among participants
2. Event Management
Prepare event lists, fixtures, and time schedules.
Ensure scorekeeping, result recording, and submission of final reports.
Coordinate with referees, judges, and physical directors as needed.
Ensure the availability of first-aid support during events.
3. Communication
Inform volunteers and teams about schedules, rules, and any changes.
Maintain regular communication with the Sports In-Charge.
Report any issues, conflicts, or violations immediately.
4. Equipment Handling
Ensure proper use and safety of all sports equipment.
Maintain a log of issued and returned items.
Report damaged or missing equipment to the Sports Department.
5. Discipline & Conduct
Maintain professionalism, impartiality, and neutrality at all times.
Ensure that volunteers and players follow code of conduct.
Avoid any favoritism or bias during selection or event management.
6. Attendance & Responsibility
Coordinators must attend all meetings and assigned sports events.
In case of unavoidable absence, prior permission must be sought from the Sports In-Charge.
7. Documentation
Maintain event-wise records, team lists, results, and attendance.
Submit an event report within 24 hours of completion.
