It is hereby informed to all Eligible students of TCS CODEVITA-9 that the Codevita season-9 contest date is scheduled on 8th August 2020 (Saturday) 3 PM to 9th August 2020 (Sunday) 3 PM.
Best Practices and FAQ Document
• The students who are eligible to participate in CodeVita have received their login credentials already on email. Even if there was an issue in getting the email, they can go to the CodeVita Contest Page on Campus Commune, and can check their credentials.
• On the Contest date, they can login to www.tcscodevita.com with the credentials.
• As mentioned previously, they will have 6 hours of time once they start the contest.
• The contest will end at 3 PM on 9th August. Hence, if any candidate logs in after 9 AM on 9th August, they will not get the full six hours of time.
• Students should use laptop / desktop to attempt the contest.
• We advise they go through the below mentioned video, which will give them all the necessary details.

o Scroll down the Campus Commune home page to the video section and check out the video titled “CodeVita Season 9 – A Must Watch Demo” in the playlist section.

• Students should not copy code.
• If students are using code from an external source, that must be declared.
• If a student closes the browser window without logging out, the system will not allow them to login immediately. They will have to wait for 15 minutes. Hence, if the student needs to close the session, please advise them to log out and then close the browser window.
• If the online editor is taking time to compile or is running slow, They are advised you to use the compilers on their local machine. They have to ensure that the same compiler versions are installed.
• Students who are facing any issues other than this, should write to campuscommune@tcs.com using the attached query template ONLY.

Dear Students,
This is to inform you that assessment for getting selected into PEP program - 2021 will be held on 17th Aug 2020 or18th Aug 2020. More details will be communicated soon.
For students to get accustomed with the tool we use for assessment, a demo test (It would just be a sample test and no separate pattern) is arranged before you take the final assessment test.
Step 1:
Details of Demo Test: 11th Aug – 12 Aug (Test window will be open for 2 days and students can login using link which will be sent by end of today and get practiced with the tool for actual test scheduled on 17th or 18th Aug 2020).
*As this is a demo test, Score will not be considered.
Step 2:
Actual Test Details (17th Or 18th Aug 2020) :
Exam pattern would be in 3 sections (C, Java, Arithmetic & Aptitude) which will all be MCQs (Code Snippets + Concepts).
Imp Note: Students should mandatorily go through step 1 and step 2 and complete the assessment process.
Negative marking for the wrong answer attempted.
Webcam is mandatory.
We have window proctoring enabled. (Students will be knocked out if moved 3 times away from the screen).
